Doleshwor Mahadev Temple is popularly known as the Head Part of the Kedarnath Temple is located in Bhaktapur (Approx. 23km). The centuries-old inscriptions (Sheela Lekhs) in the temple premises show the rich history and significance of the Holy Temple of Doleshwor. Situated in the Suryabinayak Municipality in Bhaktapur. The temple of Kedarnath and Doleshwor Mahadev temple is linked with each other and the Head Priest of Kedarnath Temple, in Uttarakhand recognized and performed the Rudra Abhishekha in the Temple of Doleshwor Mahadev Temple.

Day 01 Doleshwor Mahadev Temple Tour
Early in the morning, we will drive to the Suryabinayak Municipality in Bhaktapur. Upon reaching the temple, we will darshan and offer our prayers in the Doleswhor Mahadev Temple. We will spend some time around the temple premises and after darshan, we will head to the Suryabinayak Temple (approx.10 mins). After darshan, we will leave for Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is among the most preserved historic sites in Nepal. The traditions and cultures of the Newars in Bhaktapur are to this day as alive as centuries ago. We will visit this historic place, have lunch and return back to the hotel in Kathmandu.

- The Currency for Nepal is Nepalese Rupee, while there are options to exchange at the airport, you may find better exchange rates at the numerous exchange centers in the Thamel Market.
- The Currency used in Tibet is the Chinese Yuan, US Dollars or other currencies are not accepted.
- While US Dollars and major currencies, including Indian Rupees, are accepted in Nepal, this is not the case in Tibet. If you intend to convert your money to Chinese Yuan, you can do so either at international airports or in Kathmandu.

- All foreign Passport Holders can get their 30 days multiple entry visa to Nepal at the Kathmandu Airport, or online from the Nepal Immigration Website.
