Bird Watching in Nepal is a package specially designed for bird and nature lovers. It is great for ornithologists as Nepal is home to more than 850 different species of birds. Twitching is widely popular in Nepal as birds find it as a destination during their migration. The climate conditions are suitable for the birds in Nepal. Being a habitat to different floras and faunas, Nepal is home to some of the rarest of them as well. You might catch sight of some of the rarest birds if you get lucky enough. Nepal is a paradise for Bird Lovers.
The birdwatching tour is recommended for the Spring season in Nepal (March to May).
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu
Our representative will pick you up from the Airport upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel room.
Day 02 Hike to Shivapuri National Park
After breakfast, we hike to Shivapuri National Park, covering half the hills surrounding Kathmandu Valley. We hike in the National Park and if we get lucky, we might catch sight of some beautiful birds.
Day 03 Flight to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve
After breakfast, we fly to Koshi Tappu National Park. We check into the hotel and start sightseeing in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. We spend the day at the reserve and get back to the hotel.
Day 04 Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve
Sightseeing in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve and catching sight of beautiful wild floras and faunas.
Day 05 Drive to Chitwan National Park
We drive to Chitwan National Park after breakfast. After approx. 8 hour's drive through spectacular landscapes, arrive in Chitwan, and transfer to the hotel.
Day 06 At Chitwan National Park
Various activities like Jungle Safari, Bird Watching, Elephant safari, and Butterfly watching in Chitwan National Park. Spend the day at Chitwan National Park. Overnight at a hotel in Chitwan.
Day 07 Drive to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara. Local exploration at Pokhara and the popular Phewa Lakeside. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 08 BIRDS-EYE view sightseeing in Pokhara
Paragliding in Pokhara, catching a birds-eye view of the mountains and the beautiful valley of Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 09 Drive/ Fly back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive or fly back to Kathmandu concluding the bird-watching trip in Nepal.
Day 10 Departure
We drop you at the Tribhuwan International Airport bidding adios, ending the bird-watching trip to Nepal.
Recommendations for Yatra
The Touch Kailash Team will be providing a Duffel Bag, a 25l Backpack, and a Down Jacket (on a refundable basis), upon your arrival in Kathmandu.
Documents:
Carry a small waist pouch or document bag to organize essential documents:

- Wool/thermal long underwear
- Rainwear (umbrella or raincoat)
Footwear:
- Sports comfortable shoes/trainers (Nike, Adidas, etc.) with a spare pair
- A pair of light slippers

- The Currency for Nepal is Nepalese Rupee, while there are options to exchange at the airport, you may find better exchange rates at the numerous exchange centers in the Thamel Market.
- The Currency used in Tibet is the Chinese Yuan, US Dollars or other currencies are not accepted.
- While US Dollars and major currencies, including Indian Rupees, are accepted in Nepal, this is not the case in Tibet. If you intend to convert your money to Chinese Yuan, you can do so either at international airports or in Kathmandu.

All Travelers must ensure that their passport is valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of tour completion.
- Indian Passport Holders do not require a visa to enter Nepal.
- All foreign Passport Holders can get their 30 days multiple entry visa to Nepal at the Kathmandu Airport, or online from the Nepal Immigration Website.
- All Visas and Permits along with other needful documents for Tibet will be arranged by Touch Kailash Team.
