Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lhasa covers major cultural sites of Lhasa, Gyantse, Shigatse and pilgrimage site Kailash Mansarovar. Our trip starts with a spectacular Mountain View flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa and overnight for 3 days in the beautiful city of Lhasa. Guided tour and acclimatization in Lhasa for 3 days will be more helpful for your entire trip to adjust your body to high altitude. After the cultural trip in central Tibet- Lhasa, we further drive to Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash which lies in the Ngari region of Tibet. We explore holy Lake Mansarovar and make three days Kailash Parvat Kora/ Parikrama with walking or by the horse. The whole tour of Lhasa Kailash Tour is driving on the well-paved road except three days of Kailash kora.
Day 01 Kathmandu Arrival
Meet at the Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu. Our representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel for check-in and Aarati at Pashupatinath. stay overnight.
Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing
Early morning after Breakfast we visit Pashupatinath, Gujeswori Temple, Jal Narayan, Bouddhanath Stupa and Swyamabhunath Stupa. Lunch on the way. In the Evening Trip Preparation and Briefing
Day 03 Kathmandu - Lhasa
On your arrival to Tibet, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Taking it slow the rest of today, you can adjust to the altitude easier and quicker. Remember to drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep for the long journey ahead.
Day 04 Lhasa Sightseeing
Today our journey from Barkor Street Sightseeing and from visiting Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery which was built in 15th century located few miles from Lhasa city and Barkhor Market which is traditional Tibetan market of Tibet.
Day 05 Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse
Further, our waylays in the capital of a province of Tsang - Shigatse - residence Panchen Lama - the second ecclesiastic of Tibet. Early in the morning excursion in a monastery of Tashilhunpo (it is based on 1447), visiting a temple of the Buddha of the future - Maitreya and also other temples of a monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Shigaste – Saga
Early morning take breakfast & drive to Saga and meet staff from Kathmandu, From Tingri to Saga will take 7 hours, Staff will make fresh meals. Overnight at 4-star hotels in Saga
Day 07 Saga - Paryang – Manasarovar
The day starts with full of excitement, by the late afternoon you can have the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Manasarovara. Hore, a small village nearby Lake Manasarovar, we will spend a night there.
Day 08 Exploration of Lake Manasarovar drive to Darchen
Manasarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquillity and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Bath and We will head towards Tarchen in the evening around 4 PM. It is considered as a base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.
Day 09 Darchen to Derapuk ( Kailash Parikrama)
It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; water falls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feeling that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. Time to time the face of Kailash Parbat will keep on appearing. For 15 km trail, it takes almost 6 hrs.
Day 10 Derapuk to Zuthulpuk (Kailash Parikrama)
Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys. Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal while your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation to forget you. Once your steps go down, Parvati-sthal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon, you will arrive Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here).
Day 11 Zuthulpuk to Darchen ( Kailash Parikrama) and Drive to Saga
After walking 3 hours, all the driving crew will be waiting your arrival. By late afternoon you will be at your lodge in Saga.
Day 12 Drive Saga to Kerung
The morning after breakfast, we pack up our belongings then set off for Paryang. Today, we traverse approximately 210 km to reach Kyirong. On the way, we cross Saga and river Brahmaputra then drives take a right turn to Kyirong before we reach Peiku lake.
Day 13 Drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, we drive down to the border then continue to drive to Kathmandu. The drive takes about 6 hours to reach Kathmandu. Evening free for independent activities.
Day 14 Departure / Farewell
We will drop you to the International Airport of Kathmandu for your further journey.

The Touch Kailash Team will be providing a Duffel Bag, a 25l Backpack, and a Down Jacket (on a refundable basis), upon your arrival in Kathmandu.

- The Currency for Nepal is Nepalese Rupee, while there are options to exchange at the airport, you may find better exchange rates at the numerous exchange centers in the Thamel Market.
- The Currency used in Tibet is the Chinese Yuan, US Dollars or other currencies are not accepted.
- While US Dollars and major currencies, including Indian Rupees, are accepted in Nepal, this is not the case in Tibet. If you intend to convert your money to Chinese Yuan, you can do so either at international airports or in Kathmandu.

- Indian Passport Holders do not require a visa to enter Nepal.
- All foreign Passport Holders can get their 30 days multiple entry visa to Nepal at the Kathmandu Airport, or online from the Nepal Immigration Website.
