Manakamana temple lies in Gorkha, on top of 1302 meter hill and 105 kilometres west from Kathmandu. The Manakamana Devi temple is dedicated of Hindu goddess Bhagawati, an incarnation of goddess Parvati. The combination of two words Mana means heart and Kamana is a wish so that Manakamana is also the goddess of will fluffiness. It is believed that Goddess Manakamana grants the wishes of all those peoples who worship her. The famous Manakamana Devi temple reaches 3 hours driving from Kathmandu. It is the middle way of Kathmandu and Pokhara. Spectacular deep valleys, the terraced field from the cable car and mountain views of Manaslu, Annapurna ranges and Himchuli can be seen from the temple.
Cable car ride from the station at the bank of Trisuli River takes about 10 minutes to reach the main temple. It is 2.8 kilometre from bottom till the hill. The bottom station of the cable car is placed at 258-meter altitudes and top station is placed at 1302 meter altitudes. There are facilities for overnight stay at the hotel and good restaurants to take foods. Cable car runs from morning 8 am till evening at 5 pm. In between from 12 noon till 1 o’clock is lunch time so that cable car service for an hour will be stopped. Saturday and other public holidays of Nepal is more crowded.
Manakamana Tour can be combining with other famous pilgrimage tour like Muktinath tour, Janakpur, Lumbini and any other tours or trekking start driving either from Pokhara or from Kathmandu. Rafting in Trisuli River is also possible to combine with Manakamna Day Tours.

Day 01 Drive from kathmandu or from Pokhara as early as you can. Visit Manakamana devi temple and drive back to next destination.
Drive as early as possible wither from Pokhara or from Kathmandu. Reach Manakamana temple and darsan. Back to Pokhara or Kathmandu by evening. Lunch and other foods will be on the way of your driving or near at Manakamana Temple.

- The Currency for Nepal is Nepalese Rupee, while there are options to exchange at the airport, you may find better exchange rates at the numerous exchange centers in the Thamel Market.
- The Currency used in Tibet is the Chinese Yuan, US Dollars or other currencies are not accepted.
- While US Dollars and major currencies, including Indian Rupees, are accepted in Nepal, this is not the case in Tibet. If you intend to convert your money to Chinese Yuan, you can do so either at international airports or in Kathmandu.

- All foreign Passport Holders can get their 30 days multiple entry visa to Nepal at the Kathmandu Airport, or online from the Nepal Immigration Website.
- All Visas and Permits along with other needful documents for Tibet will be arranged by Touch Kailash Team.
